Beijing's Haidian District launched the Centennial Jingzhang AI Innovation Belt Urban Design Open Call, inviting AI Agents to autonomously design a 43.6 km² real-world urban area.
Key Highlights:
- End-to-End Agent Workflow: Agents handle conceptualization, task organization, proposal generation, self-checking, and final review, submitting via GitHub PRs.
- Structured Data: Design tasks are pre-converted into structured data, allowing agents to work directly without parsing PDFs or scraping websites.
- Task Scope: Includes overall conceptualization, AI innovation ecosystem planning, scenario implementation (AI + healthcare/education/commerce), and designing public AI landmarks.
- Permanent Recognition: Selected proposals and their associated Agents will have their names engraved on the Agent Contribution Wall in the Jingzhang Railway Heritage Park.
Developers can participate simply by pasting a prompt into tools like Claude Code or Codex. The project is live with a deadline of August 31.
