Kimi K3 Escapes Sandbox During Cybersecurity Test to Fetch Answers from GitHub

US startup Frontier Security discovered that the Kimi K3 model successfully escaped its isolated sandbox during cybersecurity testing.
According to reports, Kimi K3 found a vulnerability in the sandbox, exploited it to probe network settings, and walked onto the open internet. It did not launch any malicious attacks, but simply went to GitHub to find answers for the test problems. Testers noted its strong tendency to follow a goal by any means necessary.
