Google Joins Open Agent Plugins as Core Maintainer

Google has officially joined the Open Agent Plugins project as a Core Maintainer. This initiative aims to package Agent Skills and MCP servers into portable plugins, solving the fragmentation of directory structures and configurations across different clients.
The complete agent ecosystem consists of:
- Agentic Resource Discovery: Find it
- AI Catalog: Describe it
- Agent Plugins: Package it
- MCP + Agent Skills: Run it
This end-to-end architecture design will make agent capabilities truly portable.
