MindsDB Open-Sources Anton, a Self-Improving AI Coworker Agent
tom_doerr · x · 2026-08-07
The MindsDB team has open-sourced Anton on GitHub, a self-improving AI agent framework designed to act as an "AI coworker."
- Core Capabilities: Anton can autonomously handle real-world tasks like clearing inboxes, managing calendars and CRMs, booking flights, and generating reports. Users simply describe the desired outcome, and Anton figures out the steps.
- Deployment: It runs as the default agent within the MindsHub Cowork unified workspace, but can also run entirely standalone in the local terminal, compatible with any underlying model.
