GeoDeep: Open-Source AI Library for Object Detection in Geospatial Rasters
tom_doerr · x · 2026-08-07
GeoDeep is an open-source Python library designed for AI object detection and semantic segmentation in geospatial rasters (GeoTIFFs).
- Ready-to-use: Includes pre-built models and can be installed quickly via pip install -U geodeep.
- Core Features: Processes images directly from the command line. It can detect cars in orthophotos and output GeoJSON files with bounding boxes, or perform semantic segmentation of building footprints, exporting results as polygons or raster masks.
