Former Google DeepMind employee Jason Ma joked that the viral chart of GDM alumni founders might be pushing a narrative, noting his own short tenure there.
In a follow-up reply, he added that working at Brain/DeepMind has become a rite of passage for AI researchers, implying one needs to spend time there to become properly "scaling-pilled" and directionally aligned.
