Budget Camera + AI Upscaling: Exploring 4K Photography with SeedV2
More_Bid_2197 · reddit · 2026-08-07
A Reddit user proposed a cost-effective photography idea: leveraging the excellent upscaling capabilities of SeedV2 to losslessly enhance photos taken by cheap cameras at 1080p or lower resolutions up to 4K.
The poster noted that tests show SeedV2 can almost perfectly restore a downsampled image back to 4K, provided the original is free of noise and blur. They are looking for a cheap camera that takes clean low-megapixel photos to replace expensive 4K equipment.
