Current Tool Evaluation:
- Claude Code: Faster at generating high-quality first-pass code, refactoring, and feature building. Offers excellent mobile monitoring QoL. Acts as the "primary architect and builder."
- Codex: Slower but more persistent on long-running tasks. Better suited for codebase navigation, test execution, and implementation-heavy workflows. Acts as a "methodical implementation and verification engineer."
The author is asking the community how to combine them in production, such as splitting responsibilities, preventing context degradation, and enabling cooperation on the same repo.
