Cloudflare Launches Kitesurf: A Lightweight Browser Built for AI Agents

Cloudflare has introduced Kitesurf, a browser specifically designed for AI agents, running entirely on Cloudflare Workers.
- Lightweight & Efficient: Written in Rust, it uses 3-7x less CPU and memory compared to traditional Chromium browsers.
- Stateless & Scalable: Spawns instantly per request and disappears upon task completion, making it highly scalable and cost-effective.
- Agent-First Design: Strips out human-centric features like tabs and visual themes, focusing strictly on what LLMs need, such as HTML extraction and screenshots.
The browser is currently available for free in beta.
