Cloudflare Launches Agent Readiness Tool to Optimize Sites for AI Crawlers
irvinebroque · x · 2026-08-07
Cloudflare has integrated an Agent Readiness Analysis tool into its dashboard, helping webmasters evaluate how easily AI agents can interact with their websites.
The tool scans sites against emerging AI standards across several categories:
- Discoverability: robots.txt, Sitemaps, DNS-AID.
- Content Accessibility: Markdown content negotiation.
- Protocol Discovery: MCP Server Cards, Agent Skills, OAuth discovery.
- Commerce: Payment protocols like x402.
It also offers one-click enablement for features like Markdown for Agents and generates automated instructions for coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code) to improve the site's agent readiness score.
