Google Genkit Go Introduces Agent Skills for On-Demand Expertise

Google has introduced support for Agent Skills in the Genkit framework, allowing developers to package specialized expertise into modules that agents can load on demand.
Using a mechanism called "progressive disclosure," skills are defined via a SKILL.md file containing metadata and instructions. The agent activates these skills only when necessary, preventing the token consumption and focus dilution caused by loading all reference documents into the persistent context window.
