Giving Agents a Browser: Configuring the Cloudflare Kitesurf MCP Server

dinasaur_404 · x · 2026-08-06

A developer demonstrated how to use the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to give AI agents browser capabilities. By adding a specific JSON block to the config file, developers can integrate the Cloudflare Kitesurf MCP server.

The setup allows the agent to run chrome-devtools-mcp via npx and connect to Cloudflare's browser running environment using a WebSocket endpoint. Users simply need to provide their Account ID and API Token to enable it.
