Training Models Inside Coding Harnesses Significantly Boosts Performance, Experiment Shows
TheZachMueller · x · 2026-08-06
An experiment confirms that training models within a coding harness improves performance. The Qwen3-8B model, after just 10 training steps, saw its reward score jump significantly from 0.27 to 0.71. The dashboard and trained model have been open-sourced.
Experts noted that the latest liquid models demonstrate a similar pattern of performance enhancement in this setup.
