Fluidstack Adopts Empire State Building Playbook to Deliver GW-Scale AI Data Centers in Months

Fluidstack is developing gigawatt-scale data centers for supercomputers, aiming to deliver massive compute capacity in just a few months. Their strategy focuses on standardizing designs, minimizing on-site logistics, and manufacturing specialized components off-site.
Investor Alfred Lin drew parallels to the construction of the Empire State Building, which was completed in 410 days in 1930. The historic speed was achieved by subordinating every design decision to construction speed—such as using standard materials and optimizing window placements to eliminate on-site cutting. Fluidstack is now applying these same modular and parallelized engineering principles to build the AI infrastructure frontier.
