Sakana AI has introduced Sakana Marlin, an autonomous agent positioned as a "Virtual Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)" for ultra-deep research.

Extended Reasoning: Powered by Sakana AI's core architecture and the AB-MCTS algorithm (accepted at NeurIPS 2025), the agent scales inference-time compute to execute up to 8 hours of continuous, autonomous reasoning.
Autonomous Loop: Once a topic is set, it operates without human input—repeatedly forming hypotheses, gathering information, navigating the web, and resolving contradictions to deliver a structured strategy report.
