AI Generates 3D Games in One Shot: Successfully Replicated with Prompts & Repo
mattshumer_ · x · 2026-08-06
In response to skepticism about the authenticity of generating complete 3D games in a single AI prompt, developer Matt Shumer released the repository and prompt used to generate the game.
Subsequently, user @acherm confirmed successful replication twice: using the same prompt to generate variants of a Call of Duty-like and a FIFA-like game. He also collaborated with his 10-year-old nephew to evolve these AI-generated games with increasingly complex features. This demonstrates the immense potential of current large language models in complex code generation and game logic construction.
