Opinion: Instantly Generated UI is the Future; Stop Worrying About "AI Slop"

The author argues that the role of UI will paradoxically become both more and less important in the future. It matters because model outputs will increasingly be presented via UI to aid decision-making; it matters less because these interfaces will be generated on-the-fly and discarded after use.
Consequently, obsessing over the "AI feel" or minor layout issues of generated interfaces is short-sighted. As model capabilities improve, these superficial UI problems will naturally resolve themselves without human intervention.
