Beijing Deploys 72 Park Robots for Patrolling, Cleaning, and Pest Control

Beijing has deployed 72 "robot employees" across its municipal parks this summer to handle cleaning, patrolling, guided tours, and pest detection. These robots can answer visitor questions, remind people of park rules, and specialized models trap mosquitoes to reduce insect density. This initiative is part of China's national "Robot Plus" strategy to address labor shortages and an aging population through public service automation.
