An indie developer launched BetterBench, a new benchmarking tool designed to address inaccuracies in existing benchmarks caused by the use of random data. In MTP (Multi-Token Prediction) scenarios, different content types can lead to performance variations of 5% or more.
BetterBench ensures content consistency within 1% and measures performance across various content types. The author also shared test results running Qwen3.6 27B FP8 on dual R9700s.
