Google DeepMind Core Lead Oriol Vinyals Announces Departure

Oriol Vinyals, a core leader at Google DeepMind and co-lead of Gemini, has announced his departure. Invited by Jeff Dean 13 years ago, Vinyals played a key role in major projects including AlphaStar and Gemini.
He has not yet revealed his next destination but expressed excitement for new challenges.
