AGI Won't End Bureaucracy, It Will Reshape It

A new essay argues that while many imagine AGI will mean less bureaucracy, history shows that bureaucracy has consistently grown alongside technological advancement and societal complexity.
The AGI future will likely remain bureaucratic, perhaps even more so than today. The real question is not how to eliminate it, but how AI can be leveraged to make bureaucracy more capable, accountable, and responsive.
