Aeva announced a new Optical Connectivity Business targeting next-generation AI data centers.

- Target Applications: Focusing on Near-Package Optics (NPO) and Co-Packaged Optics (CPO).
- Milestone: Signed a joint development agreement with a leading high-speed optical engine provider to integrate Aeva’s tech for a major hyperscaler.
- Timeline & Scale: Initial volume shipments could start in 2027, ramping in 2028. Once qualified, the deal has the potential to reach millions of units annually and hundreds of millions in revenue.
