Meta Launches Muse Code Terminal Agent, Upgrades Model to Muse Spark 1.2

Meta has released Muse Code in beta, a terminal coding agent designed to handle complete software engineering tasks across large repositories, including planning changes, writing code, and validating results.
Powered by Muse Spark 1.2, this update focuses heavily on coding capabilities. Third-party benchmarks show the model scoring 82.9% on Terminal Bench 2.1, improving to 59.3% on DeepSWE 1.1 (up from 53.0%), and ranking second only to Opus 5 on Meta’s internal coding benchmark.
