Vercel Launches v0 API for Programmatic App Generation

Vercel's AI app-building tool, v0, has announced its new API, now generally available.
The API provides programmatic, headless access to v0's app-building agent. Developers can send a prompt, and v0 will generate an app, start a dev server in a Vercel Sandbox, and return a preview URL that can be embedded directly into custom UIs.
Each chat functions as an isolated workspace where v0 can read, edit, and run files, supporting follow-up messages that build on the current state. Additionally, v0 verifies the running code in the Sandbox, enabling it to catch and fix errors in real-time.
