OpenAI alignment team admits alignment unsolved, calls for new members

Boaz Barak, a member of OpenAI's alignment team, responded to Aidan Clark's tweet by admitting that 'we (like everyone else) are not where we want and need to be,' and stressed that as AI capabilities and autonomy grow, alignment becomes more crucial. He invited people to join OpenAI's alignment team. Aidan Clark had earlier stated that 'it's super clear no one has solved alignment' and encouraged joining the team.
