gaganghotra_ · x · 2026-08-06
Users have discovered that the TIME website is serving a different version of its content to AI bots like ClaudeBot and ChatGPT-User compared to human visitors.
When accessed by AI crawlers, the site returns Markdown-formatted content instead of the standard HTML pages seen by users. Reports also indicate that this AI-specific version might have ads built directly into it.
