Cloudflare Launches Cloudflare OS: An Open Platform Built for Agents
craigsdennis · x · 2026-08-06
Cloudflare has announced Cloudflare OS, an open platform designed specifically for AI agents, apps, and workflows.
The platform provides every employee with an agent and workspace built around the company's context. Agents and apps start completely sandboxed with access to nothing, requiring Gatekeepers to provide narrowly scoped resources as capabilities. The platform tracks agent observations and verifies access permissions to ensure enterprise data security.
Since its internal rollout at Cloudflare in May, thousands of non-engineering employees have used the platform to create documents, automate tasks, and build small apps.
