Open-Source Agent That Calls You for Decisions When It Gets Stuck
RichardsonDx · x · 2026-08-05
After getting no reply from OpenAI about whether an agent could call him for decisions, a developer built an open-source, self-hosted solution.
Core Mechanism: When an AI agent gets stuck or needs confirmation during a task, the system triggers a phone call to the developer. They discuss the issue like real collaborators, and once the agent receives a confirmed decision, it resumes the exact same run.
