Neuracore Demos Robotic Cable Unraveling and End-to-End Training Platform
stepjamUK · x · 2026-08-05
Neuracore is testing unstructured cable picking using two FANUC CRX-5iA arms equipped with Robotiq adaptive grippers. Because cables are tangled, deformable, and unpredictable, this task serves as a crucial benchmark to determine if a manipulation policy is robust enough for real production floors.
They also introduced their end-to-end robot skill creation engine, which covers the full pipeline from data to deployment:
- Collect: Supports various rigs like teleoperation and VR. A single line of Python code synchronizes and streams video and proprioception data to the cloud.
- Curate: Search, filter, tag, and version datasets to catch quality issues before training.
- Train: Launch imitation or reinforcement learning runs and compare policy versions.
- Deploy: Push policies to production robots, monitor success rates, and trace failures back to specific data.
