Google in Talks for $1.5B+ Deal with AI Coding Startup Mechanize

Google is in discussions with San Francisco AI coding agent startup Mechanize for a deal worth over $1.5 billion, according to Business Insider.
The agreement includes a non-exclusive licensing agreement for Mechanize's technology and talent acquisition. Google plans to bring on Mechanize's team to work on model evaluation and development to boost its AI coding capabilities.
