Liquid AI Partners with MacPaw to Bring On-Device AI to Millions of Macs
TheZachMueller · x · 2026-08-05
Liquid AI and Mac software developer MacPaw have announced a strategic partnership to co-develop a local AI technology stack for macOS.
The collaboration pairs Liquid Foundation Models (LFMs) with MacPaw's on-device inference and memory technologies. This ensures personal data stays on the device, responses are fast, and core tasks function without the internet. Eney, MacPaw's AI assistant, will be the first product built on this stack, with a production release planned for later this year.
