Niantic Spatial Builds City-Scale Digital Twin for Physical AI in California

Niantic Spatial is partnering with the Human Machine Collaboration Institute (HMCI) and the City of Rancho Cordova to build a digital twin for Physical AI.
Roughly four square kilometers of the city's Innovation Region have already been reconstructed and are running in simulation. The project leverages drone capture and modern reconstruction techniques to replace expensive traditional modeling, providing a foundational infrastructure layer for robotics and AI deployment.
