Data reveals that housing inventory in Memphis surged to 5,400 listings in June, a staggering 65% above the long-term norm and quadrupling since the 2022 low, causing home values to drop. Unlike traditional corporate headquarters, data centers create relatively few permanent jobs, failing to stimulate significant local housing demand.
