ByteDance Launches SeedRealtime: Free Real-Time Video Chat in Doubao App

ByteDance has launched SeedRealtime, a native full-duplex audio/video model competing with GPT Live. It allows users to engage in real-time voice and video chats via the Doubao app, simultaneously processing visual input, listening, and responding.
In complex demos like multi-person dinners, the model accurately matches names to faces and consistently distinguishes between different speakers during overlapping conversations.
