tristanbob · x · 2026-08-05
When a developer couldn't locate a lost phone because MDM had disabled 'Find My', they turned to Claude for help. Claude suggested tracking the Bluetooth signal strength and generated a command-line meter in about a minute. By walking around and watching the signal number climb, the developer successfully found the device.
This case perfectly illustrates how AI coding assistants are changing reality. Users can now instantly create custom tools to solve immediate problems, much like hackers in movies. The project has been open-sourced on GitHub.
