AMD Data Center Revenue Doubles to $6.7B as AI Crushes Gaming Sales

Driven by massive demand for AI capacity, AMD's data center revenue more than doubled year-over-year, reaching $6.7 billion—up from $3.2 billion a year ago. The data center segment now accounts for 58% of the company's total revenue.
In stark contrast, AMD's gaming revenue fell 31% year-over-year to $779 million, hit by price hikes and component shortages for consoles like the PS5 and Xbox. Overall, the company reported a record $11.5 billion in total revenue.
