A group of prominent scholars and researchers has launched Pax Machina, a new publication focused on the institutions needed for a world with powerful AI.
The initiative argues that while much attention is paid to aligning and regulating AI, existing human institutions are often treated as fixed. Pax Machina aims to seed rigorous debate about what a future shared by humans and advanced AI should look like, publishing concrete proposals and counterproposals for new institutional designs.
