Led by an editorial board of scholars and researchers, the platform's core thesis argues that while most attention is paid to aligning and regulating AI, human institutions are often treated as fixed. Pax Machina aims to seed rigorous debate about what a world of humans and powerful AI should look like, planning to publish proposals and counter-proposals for new institutional designs.
