Tesla's planned Terafab chip mega-factory is an unprecedented project aimed at reshaping the AI compute supply chain. Covering roughly 2,300 acres (nearly 3.6 square miles), the facility will be about 10 times the size of Giga Texas.

Terafab will integrate logic, memory, and advanced packaging in one location, targeting a massive 1 TW of AI compute capacity annually. These chips will power Tesla vehicles, the Optimus humanoid robot, and SpaceX's orbital compute ambitions, marking a new era in manufacturing intelligence at an unimaginable scale.
