Snorkel AI Builds Simulated Enterprise Environments to Train AI Agents on Complex Workflows
ajratner · x · 2026-08-05
Snorkel AI argues that a correct final answer doesn't prove an AI agent followed enterprise workflows correctly.
To solve this, they built simulated enterprise environments equipped with real tools, state changes, and business rules (e.g., an auto-insurance policy requiring manager approval for drivers under 25). These environments support both evaluation and reinforcement learning. Training a Qwen3-30B model in this setting yielded a 14-point improvement on the τ³-bench airline benchmark, demonstrating strong cross-domain transfer.
