NewEyes App Launches: Giving Cameras Visual Intelligence and Memory
JaynitMakwana · x · 2026-08-05
Collov Labs has introduced NewEyes, a consumer AI camera app designed to add a layer of visual intelligence to everyday devices. Moving away from traditional text prompts, users simply point their camera at an object to trigger AI perception, reasoning, and action.
Key Features:
- Real-time Perception & Persistent Memory: Remembers what the user has seen over time and maintains context for long-horizon tasks.
- Versatile Utilities: Includes plant identification, nutrition breakdown from food photos, recipe generation, interior redesign, outfit matching, and cross-platform price comparisons.
- Proactive AI: Shifts from reactive chat to proactive assistance, acting on visual cues before the user even asks.
The app is currently available on the App Store for iPhone.
