Cloudflare Launches Dedicated Wallet for AI Agents with Controlled Spending

Cloudflare has introduced a wallet feature designed specifically for AI agents, aiming to solve the payment and identity verification challenges in agentic workflows. The wallet is divided into human-owned wallet accounts and virtual wallets designed for agents.
Virtual wallets run via API Keys and support rules like spending limits and allowlists. This enables agents to autonomously explore and pay for APIs and content within a controlled budget without requiring real-time human monitoring. Additionally, the wallet links account identity via CloudflarePay, allowing agents to optionally prove which organization they represent, balancing verification and anonymity.
