Runware launches modular AI inference pods with 10x lower cost
aziz4ai · x · 2026-08-04
Runware today launched Sonic Inference Pods, modular data centers for AI inference. Each pod is a 20-foot shipping container delivering 1MW of compute, deployable anywhere with power. Compared to traditional data centers, buildout costs are 100x cheaper and inference costs up to 10x lower. Custom closed-loop water cooling achieves 99% power efficiency with temperature stable within 2°C. Supports any GPU architecture and is consumed as serverless inference metered by the second.
