Opus 5 and Gauntlet Loop Ship a Web-Native Game in Days
mattshumer_ · x · 2026-08-04
A user highlights a project built in just a few days with Opus 5 and Matt Shumer’s Gauntlet Loop: a fully web-native remake of Modern Warfare-style maps, packaged as a 2.8 MB Chrome app.
The demo reportedly supports solo and multiplayer play, voice chat, bots, and even an Xbox One controller on a MacBook Pro. The quoted post says the project uses:
- three.js for the core 3D engine
- MeshyAI for 3D models, rigging, and animations
- ElevenLabs for 430+ SFX, music, and TTS generations
The thread frames it as a striking example of how much a small team can build quickly with an AI-assisted coding workflow.
