Surgical robots still give doctors less spatial awareness than a Tesla, founder says

Lambda Surgical founder @rstolytechmed argues surgeons often operate with less spatial information than a Tesla on the highway.
He says current surgery still relies on decade-old camera-based projections that do not reveal true volume, depth, or instrument position, and uses that gap to motivate progress in physical AI and mobile robotics.
