Hyperscalers to Cut Capex, Enterprises to Shift to Open Source Tokens

Analysis suggests that semiconductors, particularly memory, are cyclical industries. Hyperscalers can no longer afford to expand their capital expenditures and will soon cut back.
Meanwhile, enterprise token spend will shift. Because open-source models are already good enough for most use cases and can undercut OpenAI with cheap tokens, enterprise customers will inevitably pivot to these cost-effective open-source alternatives.
