LangChain · x · 2026-08-04
LangChain has launched the public beta of LangSmith LLM Gateway, a centralized governance layer sitting between agents and model calls to provide runtime controls for production AI.
Key features include avoiding provider lock-in, controlling costs and rate limits, configuring model fallbacks, and automatically redacting sensitive data like PII. It also supports Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), allowing teams to leverage existing contracts without paying token markups.
