Cloudflare Introduces @cloudflare/computer: A Smart Runtime for Agents

Cloudflare has announced an early preview of @cloudflare/computer, a package designed to provide agents with their own optimized compute environment.
Cloudflare notes that the most capable agents need a computer (filesystem, shell, tools), but provisioning a full Linux container for every agent is overkill and unsustainable given global compute supply. The new package provides an agent runtime that intelligently runs code in a fast isolate when possible, falling back to a full container only when necessary, optimizing for both efficiency and scalability.
