ByteDance restricted international access to its Seedance 2.5 video generation model, but developers have found a workaround.
An open-source MCP (Model Context Protocol) server has been released, enabling coding agents like Claude and Codex to generate videos using Seedance 2.5. The project provides public API access via MuAPI, supporting 720p/480p video generation workflows.
