Addressing concerns that scientists "just wrote a prompt," Harvard statistician Kareem Carr argued that scientists have always benefited from lucky problem choices or being the first to explore an area.
He emphasized that it would be insane not to publish valid scientific findings simply because the work was deemed "too easy." He previously noted that fears over whether a result came from a human or AI are fundamentally unserious; the only thing that matters is whether the cure works.
